 Ruckel Private Airport, located in the Rocky Bayou Estates area of Niceville, is a limited use airstrip. Facilities are limited and operations are restricted by the license issued by
Florida Department of Transportation (FLDOT). Transient Pilots No charge will be made for a one (1) day visit. Anything over the first day will be charged at the rate of $5.00 per day plus applicable Florida sales tax. There is no fuel, telephone or gate key available to transient pilots. Arrangement for this should be made before you arrive in this area. We require 48 hours advance notice prior to coming into Ruckel Airport. The person(s) should have the Ruckel Airport Application and the Airport Instructions, which can be either downloaded from this site (see below) or mailed, faxed or emailed to them upon request. We should have the application, which includes the hold harmless agreement, in our office by fax and U.S. mail prior to landing at the airport. The instructions should be kept by the visitor. Once your application has been reviewed, you will be contacted for further briefing.
