I am a licensed Florida REALTOR® and Military Relocation Professional (MRP) in Niceville, Florida. I grew up in upstate New York, earned a BA from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY, and earned a Certificate in Business Management from Syracuse University.
As a military spouse since 1994, I understand the stress of relocating frequently and at a moment’s notice. I have lived in the Niceville area with my husband, two sons and two rescue pups since 2004, and I love this family-oriented community. I am a skilled negotiator for buyers, sellers, and real estate investors in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. I am passionate, full of energy, and an area expert. Val was absolutely awesome during the entire process of selling a beach house that was no longer an appropriate living arrangement for my aging in-laws. From meeting with them in their home to thoroughly go over all the complicated details of selling a home, to providing expert advice on preparing the home for showing, to finalizing the details of the closing, she was simply incredible. And as a result of her direct involvement and hands on management, the house sold for full price in only 3 days! Valerie made selling our home the simplest real estate transaction we have ever had. She was amazing from start to finish. Val is an excellent realtor and we couldn’t thank her enough for all of her time and effort in helping us buy our new house and sell our old house. We originally started working with Val on a new home build in Deer Moss Creek. We have never gone through the building process and Val was extremely helpful, open, transparent, and reliable through the whole process. We bombarded her with so many questions and she was always right there to hold our hand. She was so helpful that when it came time to sell our current home, we decided she was the best choice!
We originally wanted to list our house for sale by owner, but after the wonderful experience we had on the home building side we decided we were in way over our head and a realtor would be a good idea. Boy were we glad we made that decision. During the selling process, Val went above and beyond. She was able to get our home sold within weeks of the closing on our new home. She was even able to negotiate a rent back period from the new owners so that we did not have to find a transition house between the two closings. This was such a relief and a huge bonus for us. The new buyer’s realtor was not the best with following up and Val stayed on them to ensure we got everything finalized in a timely manner.
Val was awesome to work with and we will definitely be referring her to friends in the future!!
